This week in Year 2 we have been enjoying and exploring our Big Idea, Born to Perform.

We have followed an algorithm to plant a bean seed that will grow into a beanstalk. We had to follow the steps carefully to make sure they were planted correctly. After this we decorated our castles for the beanstalks to grow up to. We used percussion instruments to create sounds for different characters in Jack and the Beanstalk and decided which sounds fit each scene best. We wrote a song about a beanstalk including rhymes and repetition. We have continued to learn our dance to Timber in our PE lesson; following a sequence of movements on our own and in pairs.
