Our new whole school topic ‘Mission Meadowside’ has a real focus on Science and Design and Technology. In an afternoon we have been carrying out our own experiments linked to our author this half term, Roald Dahl. We have been working scientifically through a range of George’s Marvellous Experiments and predicting, explaining, fair testing and discussing our results. Well done Year 2 on some brilliant and careful Science experiments.

To celebrate the end of our last topic ‘Born to Perform’ Year 2 put on a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk for children from Year 1. We wrote our own song, learnt a dance and got into character to perform a very special version of the play. Well done Year 2!
