Good morning everyone,
This is RE week so we will be looking at: What it is like to be a Hindu in Britain today? Alongside this we will be continuing with our fractions in maths and our persuasive writing in English. Keep up the great work everyone – one more week then it’s half-term holiday!
Check out Friday’s celebration assembly – You could be on it?!
If any one has any queries or problems with the work please contact me at: c.leverett@meadowsideacademy.org

Spellings:
As it is the last week of term, this week I have made a list of the words most frequently spelt incorrectly by Year 4. When you complete your LSCWC sheet look at each word and highlight the ‘difficult’ part of the word.
Maths:
Today we are going to look at improper fractions. Please watch this clip and then read the introduction below.
Then please take on either the 2 or 3 star challenges (or a mixture if your confidence grows after a couple of 2 star questions) below.

English:
This is your English plan for the whole week (finished published work to be sent in to me on Friday please). I suggest today make a plan and get the introduction written.
You are going to write a persuasive argument on why: The school should not wear uniform when we return back to school.
- Monday through to Wednesday – Write the first draft of your persuasive argument (use the table for the success criteria below – all of these features should appear in your work)
- Thursday – edit and improve your work
- Friday – publish your work and send it in to me (handwritten please).
