English This week we are finishing our stories and then moving onto a short learning journey on poetry.
Tuesday – Chose one of these Autumn poems from our book, ‘Belonging Street’ and imitate it using a Talk for Writing style poetry map (we have done these lots of times) Poems to imitate
Wednesday – Innovate (make your own) your chosen poem from Tuesday and create a new version. This can be presented as a poetry map or written in full.
Thursday – Edit and improve your poem. Make sure you have used the correct punctuation and structure, like the examples.
Friday – Publish your poem.
