Early Bird Maths – Early Bird Maths WC 18.10

Maths lessons – This week, we are working hard on our times tables. We need to know all of our multiplication facts in Year 4!

Each day, we are rotating between different activities to help us practise.

Friday’s maths – Mental Arithmetic – NCAPTA_Y4_Autumn_Test_4

English  This week we are finishing our stories and then moving onto a short learning journey on poetry.

Monday – Publish story on one of these: Publishing paper hands, publishing paper plain, Publishing paper

Tuesday – Chose one of these Autumn poems from our book, ‘Belonging Street’ and imitate it using a Talk for Writing style poetry map (we have done these lots of times) Poems to imitate

Wednesday – Innovate (make your own) your chosen poem from Tuesday and create a new version. This can be presented as a poetry map or written in full.

Thursday – Edit and improve your poem. Make sure you have used the correct punctuation and structure, like the examples.

Friday – Publish your poem.
